Hello, I am seeking re-election to represent the Balclutha Ward and the wider District for the Clutha District Council.
Like many Councils throughout New Zealand, the Clutha District is not without pressures. I am proud to have worked alongside my fellow councillors to do what we feel is best for the District with the information we had at the time; while some decisions do not please everyone, we want the best for our families and the community.
I too am a ratepayer, have lived in Balclutha for several years, am married and have two adult children. I have enjoyed being part of Community Groups that want to see a better Balclutha for their families and visitors to the Clutha District.
I intend to bring some stability to the Council as it continues through challenging times, and with my business background and integrity, keep the District moving forward.
