Parking

It’s important that everyone does their part to ensure parking remains safe, accessible and fair for all, especially leading into the Christmas and holiday season when our town centres get busier.

Responsible parking helps keep traffic flowing, protects access to homes and businesses, and ensures parking spaces remain easily available and convenient to residents and visitors. Before you leave your vehicle, take a moment to check you're parked safely and legally.

Many of our town centres have mobility parking, signed restrictions, and non-parking areas.

Note: Parking remains free across the Clutha District. However, time restrictions apply in higher-demand areas. Please check signage carefully when parking.
