Community Development
Clutha District Council Community Development supports active community involvement to enable the growth and development of community-driven projects and initiatives.
Community-led projects can be delivered in partnership with the council when a community group identifies a project that addresses a local community need or priority. Guided by collaborative principles and a process of sharing skills, knowledge, experience and resources, we work alongside community groups, service organisations, educators, health providers and businesses to foster community-led development.
Protecting our natural, cultural and historical resources helps preserve the unique identity of our communities for future generations.
