Rubbish, Recycling and Waste Minimisation

Clutha District Council provides a kerbside rubbish and recycling collection service to residential properties in most urban areas and to some commercial premises and rural households along service routes. We operate the district's only sanitary landfill and ten waste transfer facilities.

Council uses Antenno, a smartphone app, to send out messages about Council services. This includes messages about any issues with our kerbside collection service, our transfer stations, and Mt Cooee sanitary landfill. Antenno can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
