Lincoln Terrace and Water Tower Park Playgrounds to be Decommissioned
During consultation for the Balclutha Our Place Community and Balclutha Reserve Management Plans decisions were made to enhance our town with Destination Playgrounds at Naish Park, and at the Bridge playground. During this consultation it also identified that the Lincoln Terrace and Water Tower Park playgrounds were no longer needed and would be decommissioned.
With Destination Playgrounds now entering the planning and developmental stage, Council has reviewed the condition of these playgrounds.
Consequently, our contractors will be dismantling it in 2021. The money used to maintain this park in future will be used to improve our other parks.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this work, please contact the Clutha District Council on 0800 801 350.
