I have been a rate payer and local school teacher in the Clutha District for the past 30 years.
Having lived in other parts of NZ, I truly appreciate that the Clutha District is a great place to live, work and play, with many quality and accessible facilities, recreational clubs and volunteer organisations that are well supported by our community.
Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of being part of the welcoming group for our 'Citizens Ceremony' which are hosted at TPOMA. The Clutha District is growing into a vibrant community and we need to ensure that it remains a 'Great place to Live'.
As both a home owner and small business owner, I am committed to seeing that we have responsible investment in our local infrastructure so that both businesses and families are encouraged to make the Clutha District home.
