Candidate profile
My decision to stand as a Balclutha ward councillor has been encouraged by the many people I interact with daily.
I am a 56 year old married man with children.
My strength would be the ability to communicate with people, and once elected, take that voice to the council table.
I have been involved in local politics for a number of years, and have been an advocate for the ratepayers, I thrive on research and information and have a keen eye for detail.
Although I do not live in the Balclutha ward, I have always worked in and around Balclutha as a mechanic, engineer, contractor, machinery operator and farmer, that life experience will bring a practical lense to the table.
To change the current situation, we need a change in thinking, your vote for me, is a vote for your voice at the table.
