Council offers a bursary once a year to students at Telford who are studying towards a Diploma in Agriculture, NZ Certificate in Animal Health Care Assisting and/or Farming Systems and Equipment. A panel of councillors interview all the applicants before a recipient is selected.
Applications for the 2026 Bursary closed at 5pm, Friday 5 June 2026
In June 2025, the following were allocated bursaries;
- Katelin Perkins - $1,500.00
- Arabella Sanders - $1,500.00
