Battery Recycling in Clutha

Clutha District Council, in partnership with the Phoenix Recycling Group, is pleased to offer free battery recycling for all residents. This service aims to reduce hazardous waste and promote sustainable practices.

Accepted Batteries Include:

• Lithium Ion (Li-ion)
• Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
• Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
• Embedded batteries in devices (vapes, smoke alarms, personal locator beacons, etc.)
