Candidate profile
I run my own small manufacturing business, giving me the flexibility to focus primarily on council work.
I have a diploma in civil engineering, so I understand key infrastructure like roads, buildings and water systems; the main areas where the council spends our rates.
I’m involved locally, as Treasurer for St Mary’s Home and School Committee and as a member of the Governing Committee for the Tokomairiro Early Learning Centers.
Like many families, we feel the pressure of rising costs. That’s why I’ll bring a practical, needs-first approach to council spending, focusing on what’s essential to make sure your rates are used wisely and kept as low as possible.
I will also prioritise improving communication between the council and our community.
I care about Milton and want to ensure it's a great place to live and to grow up in for my kids, and all the children of Milton.
