Values, Purpose and Vision

What do we stand for at Clutha District Council?

Our values are the principles that we believe are important in the way that we work, and live. They determine our priorities, guide our decisions, and reflect the way that we act towards other people.

Team CDC is proud of our values. These were developed as part of an organisation-wide consultative workshop, where every member of staff came together to shape our values, vision and purpose. This was a highly positive exercise which is a great example of how together, as a team, we are dedicated to making Clutha District Council a great place to work.

Empathy: We have empathy and treat people with respect.
Integrity: We do the right thing and speak up when we see the wrong thing.
