Clutha District Libraries are encouraging people across the
district to have their say in the Public Libraries NZ Community Impact Survey
and share what they value most about their local community library.
The survey, which opened today at 9am, is being run
nationally and gives library users across New Zealand an opportunity to provide
feedback about their experiences, the services they use and what matters most
to them.
When completing the survey, people can select Clutha
District Libraries
as their library network, ensuring their feedback
contributes to a clearer picture of what our local communities value about
their libraries.
Clutha District Libraries Manager Melissa Ellison said the
feedback would be valuable for the district library team.
“Our libraries are here for our communities, so hearing
directly from the people who use them is incredibly helpful. It doesn’t matter
if you only pop in from time to time, or if you’re a regular visitor. We’d love
to hear from everyone about what they value most and the services and
activities we provide.
“We’d really like to see a strong Clutha District response
to the survey. The more feedback we receive, the better understanding we have
of what matters to our communities.”
The survey only takes around five minutes to complete
online. Follow the link below to take part!
Paper copies of the survey are also available at all of our
local Community Libraries, and at Council’s Rosebank office.
The survey closes at 5pm on Friday, 18 December 2026.
