Reminder - Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board By-Election

Those within the Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board ward are reminded to return your voting papers by noon next Friday (16 October 2026).
As of this morning, 297 votes have been returned (which is 31.83% of eligible voters).
You can return your voting papers by post, or hand-deliver them during normal business hours to either the Lawrence Community Library or Council's Rosebank office.
Drop-off locations:
- Clutha District Council Rosebank Office: 1 Rosebank Terrace, Balclutha
- Lawrence Community Library: 5 Peel Street, Lawrence
Special voting is also available at these times during normal opening hours.
This by-election is being held to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Board.
The nominated candidates are:
- CROW, Steve
- KEAST, Peter
- MONTGOMERY, Olivia
