Kaitangata is known for its resilient and resourceful residents, always ready to come together and tackle challenges.
We are looking to form a Kaitangata Community Resilience Group who can support our community prior to and during emergencies.
A Community Resilience Group plays a vital role in encouraging preparedness activities before an emergency and coordinating community efforts during emergencies, helping us stay strong and connected when it matters most.
Clutha District Council and Emergency Management Otago warmly invite all residents to come along to hear about emergency preparedness and how you can become part of the Kaitangata Community Resilience Group.
