Asphalting complete in plaza carpark
Following the Christmas holiday break, the team has been back on the job at the Gray Street Plaza in Milton.
Last Thursday (15 January 2026), asphalt was laid on the carpark behind the Clutha District Council-owned public toilets.
The line marking and park stoppers will be in place in the next few days, and the parking space should be open to the public by this afternoon (Wednesday 21 January 2026).
The kerbing at the Gray/Union Street intersection has been completed with planting for the greenspace to be done shortly.
We will be completing the surface finish work on the footpath by the end of next week, including laying asphalt on all four corners behind the kerb.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation while we continue this improvement to Milton’s streetscape.
