New finance system and changes to online services
Clutha District Council is preparing to switch its Finance IT system from ‘Ozone’ to ‘Datascape’ on 1 July 2025, to align with a new financial year.
This new system will manage things like finance, dog registration, rates, and customer service. We are required to change as our old system will no longer be maintained in the future.
Our online portal for payments and applications will no longer be available from Monday 23 June. You will still be able to pay via your online banking or visit your local community library or Rosebank office and pay by eftpos or cash.
From 1 July 2025 there will be a new “MyDatascape” online portal to help you manage dog registrations, online payments and online forms.
However, for the next two weeks while the system is down you can request a form to be emailed to you or you can visit our Council office and community libraries for assistance.
Most modules will go live in July, except building consents, which is handled separately and digitally through the Objective Build system.
Switching to a new finance system often comes with initial "hiccups" or challenges during the transition period.
Council appreciates your understanding and patience over the next few weeks, as both staff and customers get used to the new system.
