A mains break is affecting water supply to parts of Lawrence this evening.
Our contractor will be onsite soon to complete repairs.
A water shutdown will be required, which is expected to affect properties in the area of Peel Street, Ardrossan Street and Kilmarnock Street.
Water will be switched off around 7pm for approximately an hour. During this time, customers may experience low or no water pressure.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while we complete these repairs.
We will provide an update when water has been switched back on.
We’ll do everything we can to restore your water supply as soon as possible, but please be aware that if things do not go as anticipated, it is possible that your water may be off for longer.
What to do once your water supply is restored:
It’s likely you won’t need to do anything, but sometimes water works can stir up sediment in the pipes. If you notice that your water is discoloured, please turn on one outside tap and run it for 20 minutes or until the water runs clear.
