Planned road closures for resealing work (6 - 9 October)

Clutha District Council’s contractor, Fulton Hogan, will be completing road sealing work on a number of streets in Milton.

Work is planned to occur during the week of 6 - 9 October, between the hours of 7am - 7pm.

Streets affected (and shown in map below):

• Gray Street - from 13 Gray St to SH1/Union Street intersection.
• Shakespeare Street - from Union Street intersection to 12A Shakespeare St.
• George Street & Elizabeth Street - from 16 George Street, along Elizabeth Street to the SH1/Union Street intersection.

Working safely on our roads is a priority for Council and Fulton Hogan. The worksite is isolated and there will be safety signs to manage risks and the safety of residents and staff.

In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, this work may be rescheduled.

Those requiring urgent access to or from driveways are encouraged to speak to the onsite foreperson, they will be happy to help.

Work is planned to occur during the week of 6 - 9 October, between the hours of 7am - 7pm.
