Proposed Road Closure - Kaitangata Trail Ride

Kaitangata Trail Ride - Saturday 28 November 2026
(Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974)
Clutha District Council proposes to close the following roads between 9am and 4pm on Saturday, 28 November 2026 for the purpose of the Kaitangata Trail Ride:
- Smyth Street - Full length
- Eddystone Street - From Stoddart Street to Smyth Street
- Macrocarpa Road - Full length
- Stoddart Street - Full length
Vehicles will be allowed access through the closures as required.
If you object to these temporary road closures, please contact Council with your objection and grounds in writing before 5pm on Thursday, 22 October 2026 to Clutha District Council, 1 Rosebank Terrace, PO Box 25, Balclutha 9240.
