The mains break has been repaired and water has been switched back on to affected properties in the Naish Street area.
Sometimes water works can stir up sediment or air pockets in the pipes. If you notice that your water is discoloured or there is air in your pipes, please turn on one outside tap and run it until the water runs clear.

3pm - Tuesday 15 September
Clutha District Council's contractor is working to fix an extensive leak in the Balclutha network.
The water is currently shutdown and is most likely affecting the properties highlighted on the map below.
A water tank will be placed outside the entrance of the kindergarten in Naish Street.
An update will be sent out when the leak has been repaired and water has been restored to the affected properties.
