Wangaloa RWS - Disruption to supply

Residents on the Wangaloa rural water scheme may experience disruption to their water supply due to a suspected mains break in the network.

Clutha District Council's contractor is trying to locate the suspected mains break at the moment and will be making repairs as soon as it has been found.

Reservoir levels have dropped because of this, and it will take time for the reservoir to recover once the leak has been repaired.

We expect this should cause minimal disruption with consumers holding two days of water storage.
