Unique Digital Op​​portu​nit​ies in th​​e Stunning Clutha District!

Clutha District Council aspires for each of their Libraries to be vibrant digital community hubs, serving their local communities with relevant digital resources, reliable information, and skills to function independently in a digital world. We're only just beginning our digital journey and have two new fixed term jobs to fill until 30 June 2022.

Digital Content and Applic​​ations Support Officer

This new role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a framework to support the Library's future digital service provision. A key focus will be identifying, developing and implementing digital solutions to improve the design and delivery of our libraries services, with an emphasis on innovation and community engagement.

Digital Programmes Co​​ordinator

New Zealand's experience through the Covid-19 pandemic has shown how critical it is for people to be connected and able to actively participate in the digital world. The Digital Programmes Coordinator will promote and support social and economic inclusion by building future resilience and promoting community wellbeing within the Clutha community, through the development and coordination of programmes that are focused on the many aspects of digital literacy.

​Visitor Inf​o​​r​​mation Officer

Would you like a job helping locals, and visitors to the District ??

We are looking for a person to help  visitors and residents access our high-quality visitor and council services at the Clutha I-SITE/CDC Service Centre. We need someone who is friendly, confident, self-motivated and outgoing, with up to date computer skills, to greet and help people get what/where they need.

​It’s part time, every second Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus casual, relief work as required at other times and at other council offices around the Clutha District. You will have, or be willing to undertake, tourism qualifications to help you thrive in a supportive work environment with a friendly team.
