The Clutha District Creative Communities Assessment Committee is to hold an additional funding in 2020.
The funding round is now open and closes on 20 November 2020.
Creative Communities Assessment Committee Chair, Ken Payne, said the committee decided to hold the additional round because there was a large sum of unspent funding remaining after the last funding round - a result of some projects being cancelled due to uncertainties Covid.
In addition, Creative New Zealand has increased the funding allocated to the Clutha district by $7,797.00 a year, therefore $25,620 has been made available for allocation in the 2020-21 financial year.
He encouraged groups and artists interested in running arts projects to apply to the fund.
Although there is additional funding available, it is essential to submit a well-constructed application to the committee.
Potential applicants should contact Karen Piercy, Clutha District Council’s Corporate Services Administrator, to discuss their project and application requirements.
