There's just over a week and a half left to get nominations in for the Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board by-election.

This is a great opportunity for someone who cares about Lawrence-Tuapeka to step forward, represent local voices, and help make decisions that support the future of the community.

Nominations close at 12 noon on Thursday, 6 August 2026.

Nomination papers are available from Clutha District Council’s Main Office in Balclutha, the Lawrence Community Library, or by phoning 0800 922 822.
