As a result of a resignation of a member, an extraordinary vacancy has occurred in the Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board of the Clutha District Council.

Under section 120 of the Local Electoral Act 2001, notice is given that on Friday, 16 October 2026, a by-election will be held under the first past the post electoral system by postal vote for one member of the Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board.
