Water update - Waihola, North Bruce
The technical issue affecting the supply of water from the water treatment plant to Waihola residents and the North Bruce Rural Water Scheme has been resolved.
It will take a day or two for the scheme to recover and reservoirs to return to normal levels.
This water supply is still on a boil water notice due to low chlorine levels detected at the water treatment plant. This relates to issues with treated water quality. New treatment equipment has been ordered.
Anyone using water from their tap for consumption (including teeth cleaning and washing fruit and vegetables) should boil it for 1 minute before it is used. Please tell friends and neighbours.
You can fill up your clean containers with water from the tanker in Waihola by the community hall.
