Stirling, Benhar & South Bruce Boil Water reminder
Council reminds consumers on the Stirling, Benhar & South Bruce RWS that the boil water notice remains in place.
Council urges anyone using water from their tap for consumption (including teeth cleaning and washing fruit and vegetables) should boil it for 1 minute before it is used.
Given the extensive damage to the Stirling water treatment plan from recent weather event, residents in Stirling, Benhar and Cherry Lane townships and the South Bruce Rural Water Scheme may be on a long-term boil water notice. Council are currently working through options to reinstate Stirling to compliance.
There is a water tanker available at the Stirling hall for people to fill their clean containers.
