REMINDER: Kaitangata & Wangaloa RWS - Conserve water use

A reminder that we are asking Kaitangata residents and those on the Wangaloa rural water scheme to monitor their water use and conserve where possible TODAY and TOMORROW - (Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September.)

This is due to a planned power outage that will affect some parts of Kaitangata (including the Kaitangata Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant) between 9:30am and 3:30pm on Thursday and Friday, 5-6 September.

Both treatment plants will be operating on generator power at limited capacity on these days, and supply will mainly come from the town’s reservoirs.
