Kaitangata intersection closures - 5 & 6 September 2024
Road Closures
Contractors will be working to install replacement power poles and completing cabling on Eddystone Street, Kaitangata on Thursday and Friday, 5-6 September next week.
This will require a closure of the lower intersections at Bridport Street, St Albans Street and Branksea Street (towards Water Street), between 9:30am and 4pm on both days. Access will remain available to these roads via Water Street.
The footpath on the Victoria Park side of Eddystone Street will be closed between Bridport Street and Branksea Street. The footpath on the opposite side will remain open for pedestrians.
Eddystone Street will remain open for traffic with two lanes operating, however a traffic management plan will be in place with lane repositioning to allow space for the work area.
