Proposed road closure - Clutha Christmas Parade

PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965 notice is hereby given that Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and Clutha District Council, for the purpose of the Clutha District Santa Parade, propose to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.

Streets proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic and period of closure:

SH1 Clyde Street between Renfrew & High Streets, 12 noon to 2pm

Barr Street between James and Clyde Streets, 12 noon to 2pm

Elizabeth Street between Clyde and James Street, 9am to 2pm

During the proposed period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the streets:

Detour via:

Northbound: High Street, Charlotte Street, Charles Street, back onto SH1

Southbound: Renfrew Street, James Street, back onto SH1

Proposed closure: Saturday, 2 December 2023

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 4pm, 10 November 2023 at the office of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Level 2, AA Building, 450 Moray Place, PO Box 5245, Dunedin 9058.
