Boil Water Notice for Clinton and Clydevale Pomahaka RWS
A boil water notice has been put in place for the Clinton township and Clydevale/Pomahaka Rural Water Scheme users due to an issue with chlorine treatment at the treatment plant.
Anyone using water from their tap for consumption (including teeth cleaning and food preparation such as washing fruit and vegetables) should boil it for 1 minute before it is used.
Please tell friends and neighbours. We will advise when the boil notice is lifted.
If you’re in Balclutha you can fill up your clean containers with water at the public tap next to the helipad.
We apologise for the inconvenience the boil notice may cause.
