Activities at the library
ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES
Clutha District Settlement Support Inc are running free English language classes at the Balclutha Library, 23 John Street, Balclutha.
Two levels everyday English and IELTS preparation.
First and third Tuesday of the month - 7.00pm until 9.00pm

Brick Club - After School Programme
Brick Club runs every Wednesday during school terms from 3.45pm-4.45pm, for children aged 5- 13 and is FREE.
All equipment is supplied and after each session all of the creations will be displayed in the library.

Hell Reading Challenge
Read your way to a Pizza. Call into your nearest library and collect a pizza wheel and reading log. Read 7 books, bring your pizza wheel and reading log back into the library and we will sign it off. Then you can take your wheel to HELL Pizza and receive a free 333 HELL Pizza.
Open to children aged 5-13 year old - Pizza wheels are available now.

Wriggle & Rhyme
Balclutha public library presents Wriggle & Rhyme at the Balclutha Parents' Centre, 6 John Street (upstairs).
Sessions that are aimed at children from 0-2 and guide parents through movement activities that they can use at home.
Mondays at 10.00 am during the school terms. FREE
Active movement provides positive movement experiences for young children to stimulate the development of the brain and body, building the foundations for pre-literacy and learning.
