Grant of Easement Tokoiti Quarry Reserve

PUBLIC NOTICE

GRANT OF EASEMENT; TOKOITI QUARRY RESERVE, MILTON

In exercise of the power contained in Section 48(1)(f) of the Reserves Act 1977, public notice is hereby given that Clutha District Council, being the administering body for the reserve known as Tokoiti Quarry Reserve, in the District of Clutha, proposes to grant a right of way easement, to regularise access for the adjoining property over the portion of reserve shown marked A on LT 503582.

EXPLANATION

The above portion of reserve has been used to provide vehicular access for approximately 60 years by the Clutha District Council. The intention is to regularise such use.  The portion of land involved will still be available for other public use connected with the reserve.

PURPOSE

The right of way easement, when created over Area A shown on LT 503582, will be appurtenant to the land described as Lot 2, LT 503582, and currently held in part computer freehold register OT19A/115.

FURTHER INFORMATION

LT 503582, being the plan of survey showing the portion of reserve involved, may be inspected at the Council Offices, 1 Rosebank Street, Balclutha. Detailed enquires should be directed in the first instance to David Rowe, Senior GIS Officer (419 0200 or 0800 801 350).  Persons wishing to object to this proposed grant of right of way easement must lodge their objections with the Chief Executive, Clutha District Council, in writing not later than one month after the publication of this public notice.
