The Clutha District Council currently has two community boards – the West Otago Community Board and the Lawrence/Tuapeka Community Board. The role of the community boards is to:
The boards meet on a six weekly basis. West Otago Community Board This board represents the West Otago ward of Council and has its base at the Tapanui Community Services Centre. It is released via the Blue Mountain Express shortly after every second meeting of the West Otago Community Board – approximately every two months. This newsletter aims to focus specifically on happenings in the West Otago community, so you’re kept in the loop on decisions that affect you. There is plenty happening in our community, and, as always, your feedback is appreciated.
