Leading economist to speak in Clutha

The Otago Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Clutha District Development Board, is pleased to present a discussion evening next month with key speaker Ganesh Nana from Business and Economic Research Limited (BERL).

BERL is an independent (non-government) professional consulting and research operation, established in 1970, and Mr Nana is its Chief Economist.

Next month’s session, “Opportunities from Recession – where to now?”, is a follow-up to last year’s discussion evening “Ride the Recession” which was also presented by Mr Nana.

Last year’s discussion evening had been well received, and the local business community had requested a follow-up session with Mr Nana.

The Chamber and local business community found Mr Nana to be a very good speaker last year, so anyone interested in where the economy is going now, and how people in business can take advantage of it, is urged to book in with the Chamber of Commerce and come along to hear what he has to say.
