Thursday 5 November 2009 Residents to rate Council’s performance
Clutha residents have the opportunity to rate the performance of the Clutha District Council during a Resident Survey being conducted this month.
The survey, which is being conducted on behalf of Council by the Southern Institute of Technology, got underway this week and runs for another fortnight.
Policy Analyst Rebecca Findlay said residents would be called at random on weeknights between the hours of 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
“They will be asked about a range of Council services including water, roading, waste, parks and reserves, as well as the overall performance of Council. The survey is an ideal opportunity for those contacted to express their views on the direction in which Council and the district are heading.”
The telephone survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and results are expected to be available early next year.
This is the fourth consecutive year Council has conducted a Resident Survey. Results from previous years are available on the Council website by clicking here.
