Tuesday 13 January 2009 Storyteller to visit Clutha libraries Renowned storyteller Andy Wright will be visiting four Clutha District libraries later this month. Andy Wright is the principal storyteller for International Storytelling, a company which has been telling stories all over the world for the past two decades. Andy uses his storytelling to promote literacy, reading, and the love of literature. He portrays a sense of fun to help children and adults discover their own stories and celebrate their own culture and the culture of others. Andy’s sessions at Clutha District libraries are open to all ages and are all free thanks to sponsorship from local organisations mentioned below. The sessions will be held at the following times: 27 January 2009 10am – 11am, Owaka Library (sponsored by Catlins Area School Ace Programme) 1.00pm – 2.00pm, Balclutha Library (sponsored by Balclutha Rotary Club) 3.30pm – 4.30pm, Milton Library (sponsored by Milton Rotary Club), please pre-register with library 28 January 2009 10am – 11am, Lawrence Library (sponsored by the Lawrence Lions Club) |
