Monday 3 March 2008 Half Year Report shows positive progress Clutha District Council’s Half Year Report shows Council has made positive progress towards achieving full year targets set out in its current Long Term Plan. Chief Executive Charles Hakkaart said the Half Year Report, for the six month period ending December 2007, included results of two new surveys: the Council Community Housing Resident Survey 2007, and the Clutha District Resident Survey 2007. He said the results of both surveys were pleasing, with targeted levels of resident satisfaction set out in the Long Term Plan being met or exceeded in most cases. Where resident satisfaction fell short of set targets – particularly for footpaths – programmes for improvement were generally already in place. “Overall, good progress is being made towards meeting targets set in the Long Term Plan. “2008/09 continues to be a busy year for Council with several large projects on the books and we look forward to reporting further progress at the three quarter mark for the period January to March 2008,” Mr Hakkaart said. The Half Year Report is available for viewing on the Council website at www.cluthadc.govt.nz, or at any Council office, library or Service Centre. |
