New faces on Creative NZ Assessment Committee

The Clutha District Council has appointed four new community representatives to the Creative New Zealand Funding Scheme Assessment Committee.

Barbara Hanna, Marie Kean, Noeline Milne, and Jean Proctor join Eunice Bennington and Don Waugh as the six community representatives on the committee.

The Creative Communities NZ Funding Scheme is administered by the Clutha District Council. Its purpose is to increase arts participation, the range and diversity of the arts, and to assist in strengthening the local arts sector.  The scheme operates four funding rounds each year.

Council’s Corporate Services Administrator Alison Ludemann said applications for the third round of the 2007/08 year would close on Friday 29 February and the assessment committee would meet on 19 March to consider the applications received.

Anyone with queries regarding the fund criteria or completing the application form should contact Alison Ludemann on 03 419 0200.

Application forms and additional information are also available at all Council Service Centres.
