Clutha District Council Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

on Clydevale Road between Paisley Rd and Wharetoa Rd

PURSUANT to Local Government Act 1974 Schedule 10, (Clause 11), Notice is given that the Clutha District Council, for the purpose of Southroads Ltd to install a stock underpass, proposes to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic. 

The road closure may be extended to 7.00pm Thursday 26^th January 2012 if there is unexpected weather or ground conditions.

A sign posted detour will be available via Paisley Road, Pannets Road and Wharetoa Road.

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing by Friday 13th January 2012 to the office of the Clutha District Council, 1 Rosebank Terrace, (P O Box 25) Balclutha 9230.

Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974 - Regulation 11

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Regulation 11 (3) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, the Clutha District Council has fixed the following maximum weight (and/or speed) limits for heavy motor vehicles and combinations including a heavy motor vehicle on the bridges described hereunder.

It should be noted an overweight permit system is in place for the use of the bridge under prescribed conditions. Operators should apply to:
