Citizenship Ceremony

There was a large contingent of new kiwis present for a Citizenship Ceremony at the last Council meeting, with nine candidates taking the oath and making an affirmation to become New Zealand citizens.

Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean Up Week September 5 - 12

Fifteen local schools and early childhood education centres have already signed up to muck in and keep Clutha’s roadsides, parks and streets extra tidy next month as part of this year’s Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean Up Week.

Nominations for Apprentice of the Year award closing soon

Clutha Mayor Juno Hayes is calling on all local employers to put in their nominations for the 2008 Coastal Otago Trades Graduation ‘Apprentice/Trainee of the Year’ award.
